German Clark - Managing director
Germán Clark is an experienced professional in the development and scalability of tech startups. He has played key roles in managing innovative projects, leading multidisciplinary teams to success. His focus is on creating technological solutions that add value and efficiency to various sectors. Germán is passionate about innovation and business strategy, helping to drive MagicBox forward.
Alejandro Ferreira - Product owner
Alejandro Ferreira is a psychologist and technology and innovation expert with extensive experience in project management, software development, and digital manufacturing. He has founded three companies in product design, web development, and digital fabrication, and has led the implementation of open innovation and digital manufacturing labs at UTEC. As an educator, he has taught STEAM, robotics, and digital marketing at various institutions and is a researcher at CICEA – UDELAR, focusing on cognitive numeracy. Alejandro combines his passion for psychology, technology, creativity, and teamwork to drive groundbreaking educational solutions like MagicBox.

Guillermo Trinidad
Guillermo Trinidad is a Computer Engineer currently completing his PhD in Computer Science. He specializes in Artificial Intelligence and network management applied to education and has extensive experience in operating systems and robotics. As part of MagicBox, he designed the electronics and developed the code used in the current research device, ensuring its functionality and effectiveness in educational environments.
Alejandro Maiche
Alejandro Maiche is a psychologist and researcher specializing in cognitive processes, numerical cognition, and early math learning. He holds a PhD from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and has been a lecturer at UAB, a visiting professor at Harvard University and UNESCO, and a postdoctoral researcher at the Universities of Granada and Illes Balears. His work focuses on visual perception, cognition, and educational technology, leading research on math learning in young children at the Interdisciplinary Center for Cognition in Teaching and Learning (CICEA). In the MagicBox project, he led the research design and thesis work in which Alejandro Ferreira conceptualized and developed the device.
